Within the Business Development Finance Team the job holder will be accountable of the following:
Support to the Business Development Finance Manager in developing and implementing financial models and solutions for the solar business in Europe.
Perform and/or facilitate detailed financial modeling, enterprise and project valuations, cash flow projections and project analysis of structured finance deals and alternatives.
Establish and maintain performance metrics and tools for measurement and generate monthly and quarterly reporting on investments and projects.
Track the status of the investments and deals vs. targets, early identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
Participate in the commercial negotiations with customers and partners providing financial support to the Sales team.
Understand the internal investment governance processes and ensure adherence of work to group investment assurance and approval processes.
Apply structured finance best practices pursued in the marketplace.
Establish relationships with key industry contacts to understand and communicate financing trends and future solutions available to the European teams.
Identify key internal partners and collaborate on models to institutionalize understanding and increase velocity of successful deals within the framework.
Perfil
The position requires minimum 5 years experience in structured finance within the renewable energy sector and proven successful expertise in project finance modeling.
Proven experience in economic evaluation, cash flow projections and financial models.
Experience with financial clients and deal negotiation is required.
Experience in M&A and due diligence process will be a plus.
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people across organization.
High level of energy and enthusiasm towards new challenges.
Graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Financial Engineering.
Fluent in English and Spanish required.
