This role in TSP offers a unique opportunity to work across a broad cross section of areas and will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to deliver significant business value through reservoir engineering and an opportunity to develop leadership skills.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and enthusiastic team of subsurface professionals responsible for the long term management and depletion planning of TSP fields.
We are seeking a highly motivated Reservoir Engineer to contribute to the growth of REPSOLYPF’s areas.
You will be accountable for identifying and evaluating exploitation opportunities, recommending development strategies and project managing the development program. Reservoir performance assessments are required for the current development program and for new opportunities that underpin the team’s long term plan.
This is an excellent opportunity and you will be part of a multi-discipline team of geophysicists, geologists and engineers is envisaged which will act to maximize value through effective asset management. This team will conduct detailed reservoir analyses using state of the art technology; prepare in depth reservoir studies; and prepare detailed block depletion strategies with focus on optimal reserves depletion through drilling, timely well intervention.
Responsibilities:
Base reservoir management and support of production optimization of both oil and gas reservoirs.
The identification, justification, and execution of future development opportunities.
Build and maintain reservoir simulation models to history match current performance and forecast future performance.
Work with the G&G team to create and support a portfolio of projects to improve oil and gas recoveries in the asset.
Reserves calculation, assurance and internal/external reporting along with the rest of the team.
Integrate geological, geophysical and engineering data for reservoir understanding and characterization.
Develop exploitation strategies for new bypass pay zones.
